Balaton tart cherries are higher in Anthocyanins than Montmorency tart cherries, are larger in size and lower in acid. These dried cherries are very nutritious, with no added sugar.

 

These are not your typical dried cherries. Since they DO NOT have any added sugar, the result is a cherry that many find too tart and too dry. If you are buying dried cherries for flavor, we suggest the Montmorency. If you are looking for Anthocyanins and health benefits, we suggest this cherry.
