Wild BlueberryIQ Red Raspberry Juice Concentrate CherryFlex Wonderful Pomegranate Concentrate

Dear Friends,

Here in northern Michigan, the weather changes daily. A cool spring was followed by several days in the 90’s, then just as suddenly, we are back in the 60’s, with much needed rain. I always hear people complaining that the local weather forecasters can’t get it right. With all of the Great Lakes surrounding our state and an active jet stream, I think this must be one of the hardest areas for weather forecasting.

This year the tart cherry harvest is expected to produce larger than normal volumes. Our below average spring temperatures, while cold, did not create the killing frosts of the past few years. We hope the bumper crop will allow us to be able to pass along some cost savings to you, our customers. Since the federal government regulates the tart cherry industry, only a portion of the crop will be available for sale, but any saving we can negotiate will be reflected in our pricing.

Since the tart cherry harvest will begin in mid July, this seems like the perfect month to put our Montmorency Tart Cherry Juice Concentrate on sale. For the month of July, you will save $1.00 on each quart of Tart Cherry Concentrate. If you buy 6 or more bottles, you will save $1.50 a quart, and $2.00 a quart if you buy a case of 12 bottles. This is our once a year special on our best selling concentrate, so stock up. It keeps for up to two years in the freezer, so why not take advantage of the savings now. We have many customers that place a single order with friends in order to take advantage of this offering.

Here in Traverse City, Tart Cherry Capital of the World, it is time for yet another National Cherry Festival. Beginning July 4th and running for 8 consecutive days, we will have pie eating and pit spitting contests, air shows, cooking demonstrations, concerts, foot races and parades. I can tell you that my kids look forward to this all year long and are bummed when the fun ends.

As we kick of the festivities on July 4th, my family and I will be celebrating not only cherries, but also the fact that we live in the greatest Country in the World, and I hope that you will too!

My best,
