Hello Friends
Here at Brownwood Acres, we recognize the need for our own stimulus package, one that will leave more of your hard earned money in your checkbook, while allowing you to continue with your fruit regimen.
Fortunately, this growing season is shaping up to be one of the best ever for North American fruits! Michigan is seeing the largest tart cherry crop in many years. Wild blueberries and several other fruits will also be plentiful. What this means to you, the consumer, is better pricing on fruit juice concentrates.
Take wild blueberry juice concentrate for instance. This winter, we were charging $38.95 a quart, while our new price is only $19.95 a quart! Cranberry juice concentrate, also at $38.95 a quart this winter is now $21.95 a quart. Red raspberry juice concentrate has dropped $10 a quart to $28.95, and we are delighted to be able to lower tart cherry juice concentrate quarts by $1.50 to only $13.50 a quart. I am optimistic that we can hold these prices until the next growing season. My goal has always been to provide the best product at the best price, and pass any savings along to the consumer.
I am also pleased to let those of you with dogs in on a special offer for the month of August. We have purchased 500 dog leashes with our CherryFlex logo, to be given away for free, one per household until they are gone, to those of you that order one or more bottles of CherryFlex for Dogs. These handy leashes, with a sturdy metal hasp and nice wrap handle are the perfect pet restraint to keep in your car, purse or mudroom. They are a $12.95 value but can be yours for free with your order. Simply order your leash from the CherryFlex for Dogs page, then enter FREELEASH into the coupon code and the cost will be deducted at checkout.
As school sports camps and tryouts ramp up around my house, I am beginning to wonder where the summer went! I hope each and every one of you has had a chance to spend some time with friends and family at the lake, the park, the campground or even the backyard fire pit. My fondest memories of childhood summers are jumping into a cold, crystal clear lake on a hot summer day.
My best,
