July has been fantastic here in northern Michigan, with a steady month of temperatures in the 80's. The National Cherry Festival ended last week after 9 days of beautiful sunny skies. Above normal early spring temperatures pushed fruit trees two to three weeks ahead of schedule, only to be hit by late spring frosts.
