FruitFast Smoothies are Healthy and Easy

Thursday, June 19th, 2008

This smoothie is a great breakfast or lunch substitute. The FruitFast MixedBerry Liquid gives it a super-charged fruity taste. You can use any of the FruitFast Liquid supplements in the smoothie – CherryFlex, Wonderful Pomegranate or the MixedBerry. A delicious alternative is substituting fresh or canned cherries for some of the fruit and adding FruitFast CherryFlex Liquid supplements and a plain or Cherry yogurt.

Delicious FruitFast Smoothie cherrysmoothie.jpg

1 cup orange juice
1 banana (fresh or frozen)
5 strawberries (fresh or frozen)
1/4 cup blueberries
1/2 cup mixed raspberries
1 small container raspberry (regular or soy) yogurt
1 Tablespoon FruitFast MixedBerry Liquid

Combine ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth. Makes 2 – 8 oz servings. I like to use frozen fruit in my smoothies. The frozen fruit makes the smoothie colder and a little thicker. If using all fresh fruit–add approximately 1/2 cup of ice to the mixture.
