Sorry to sound so abrasive in my message. I didn’t mean to. And yes, these ARE wondederful muffins. My hubby doesn’t like nuts in his baked goods, so I do have to omit those. But they are still very tasty. Thanks for sharing all these wonderful recipes.

Thanks for pointing out my omission…yes, I did use the “Eating Well’s Pineapple Upside-Down Muffin ” recipe from their Winter 2004 magazine as a guide. I changed the preparation–soaking the cherries in pineapple juice –slicing the chunks (the chunks worked better for me), and added mini muffins to the recipe. I feel the nuts are an integral part of the recipe and should not be optional. If you have had a chance to try these, you really should. Several FruitFast customers have commented on how great they are, despite the long list of ingredients and directions. I use many different sources for my recipe blogs–they are great resources and not everyone has the opportunity to peruse all the recipes that are available. I appreciate your comments and have added the source to my post.

This is obviously Eating Well’s Pineapple Upside-Down Muffin recipe from their Winter 2004 magazine. The picture is even the same. The only difference is that tart cherries were substituted for raisins. Hi there, thank you very much for that. I was looking for a meaty stew recipe to get me through the christmas month, and this sounds perfect. Thank you. I'm supposed to cook for my new vegan girlfriend next weekend and have no idea what to make! I found a loadlots of recipes at this vegetarian recipe site but with so mnay to choose from I just got confused. I promised to cook something for my wife this weekend for the first time - very exciting! Thanks Taisha, I will check out the website, too. I am always looking for new and different recipe ideas. I do like them to be easy, simple and quick.
